I’m someone who believes there are certain things worth knowing without having to reach for your phone.

I’m learning more about growing food, preserving what I harvest, making practical recipes, and preparing for those unexpected moments when everyday conveniences aren’t available.

I’m not here to pretend I know everything. I’m learning as I go, making mistakes, figuring things out, and sharing what I discover along the way.

One of my favorite projects is building what I call our SHTF Bible — a collection of practical reference cards and information we can keep laminated, in a binder, ready when we need it.

Because what happens when the power goes out, the internet isn’t working, or you simply need an answer without searching for it?

That’s what this little corner of the internet is all about.
